Business Continuity Plan (BCP or BCMS)
DESCRIPTION
Service that consists of the preparation of a document that contains a set of defined actions and procedures, with clearly established responsibilities, to be executed after an interruption of business operations. The objective of this service is to meet the delivery of critical products and services at an acceptable level and within the time frames predefined by the organization.
WHY IT´S IMPORTANT?
After an incident or natural disaster has occurred that affects the technological operation of the business, it must be prepared and know what to do to restore the critical services that were affected. A business continuity plan (BCP) helps the organization establish and know what activities it must perform so that the main processes and actions of the business return to operate as they did before the incident.
